Since 2013, Serbia Mining and Quarrying Production Index fell by 1% year on year. With 109.7 Indexes 2010 = 100 in 2018, the country was ranked number 7 comparing other countries in Mining and Quarrying Production Index. Serbia is overtaken by Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was number 6 at 112.2 Indexes 2010 = 100 and is followed by Macedonia with 91.5 Indexes 2010 = 100. Armenia ranked the highest with 235.5 Indexes 2010 = 100 in 2017, that is an increase of 14.6% compared to 2016. Albania, Montenegro and Belarus respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Montenegro witnessed the best average annual growth at +14.4% per year, while Albania recorded the worst performance at -9.9% per year.
