Since 2015, Hungary Mining and Quarrying Turnover Index rose 6.5% year on year. In 2020, the country was ranked number 7 among other countries in Mining and Quarrying Turnover Index at 137.2 Indexes 2015 = 100. Hungary is overtaken by Latvia, which was number 6 at 138.4 Indexes 2015 = 100 and is followed by Lithuania at 134.3 Indexes 2015 = 100. Turkey topped the ranking with 278.2 Indexes 2015 = 100 in 2020, that is an increase of 28.3% versus 2019. Cyprus, Sweden and Montenegro respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Turkey witnessed the best average annual growth at +22.7% per year, while Netherlands recorded the worst performance at -17.1% per year.
