I agree with Lau P and it was the first thing I thought of when someone posted this on facebook. If you do the math, by nation's population, it seems to come out even.

My question is why China and India aren't listed. Is it that they don't keep track of the donation numbers? Because it's absolutely not plausible for either nation not to have had at least a couple thousand donations.

The populations are pretty outstanding and I fail to believe they don't have high donation numbers for the citizens who would probably need the blood, shortage or no shortage.
