Climate summary:

Sudan straddles the Sahara, with only the Nile Valley and the small costal region being available to agriculture amd part of the Sudd flood plain lies in the south Water levels fluctuate up to 1.5 meters, depending on the intensity of seasonal flooding. and is mostly Sudanian savanna and sahel.
